Parrot Distilling Co. is a distillery based in Orange, NSW, known for producing award-winning gin, rum, and seasonal liqueurs. With each product offering a unique flavour profile and story, the brief was to create a series of labels that felt distinct, yet collectively aligned to the Parrot brand. The result is a suite of visually rich labels that bring personality, detail and boldness to every bottle.
We approached the label design with a focus on individuality — ensuring each product had its own visual narrative, reflective of the spirit within. From aromatic gins to deep, spiced rums, the goal was to give each label a sense of story and place, while maintaining an overarching connection through tone, type and layout. The designs needed to stand out on the shelf, reward close-up detail, and feel considered from every angle.
Each label showcases a tailored composition of colour, illustration and typography — drawing from botanical cues, flavour notes and the mood of each product. Rich textures and fine detailing were used to build depth, while the consistent use of brand elements ensured cohesion across the range.
The designs strike a balance between collectability and clarity — bold enough to capture attention, refined enough to reflect the craftsmanship behind every bottle.
